Algebra 2 extends the first year into a wider family of functions. The published units work through equations and systems, quadratics and the complex numbers they introduce, polynomial and rational functions, and radical functions with rational exponents. The outline continues into exponential and logarithmic functions, sequences and series, trigonometry, and probability and statistics as those units are written.
Practice keeps the constructed formats from Algebra 1: points you place, regions you shade, functions you transform, with hints on about two thirds of the problems. Four of the planned eight units are published today, and the syllabus below grows as the rest arrive.
