AP Chemistry
Atomic structure through kinetics, thermodynamics, and equilibrium, with practice you work out on the page.
9 units · 59 lessons · 357 practice items
AP Chemistry works from atomic structure up to the behavior of reacting systems. The early units cover electron configuration, bonding, and the intermolecular forces that set physical properties. From there the course builds through chemical reactions, kinetics, thermodynamics, equilibrium, and acids and bases, ending with applications of thermodynamics that tie energy and spontaneity back to what happens in the flask. Each topic prepares the quantitative work of the next.
You practice by doing the chemistry: writing electron configurations, balancing equations, filling ICE tables, marking features on a curve, and drawing molecules, with 3D structures to turn beside the text. Around two thirds of the problems carry hints, and a small set follows the answer with fully worked steps.
This course follows the College Board's published AP Chemistry framework.
