Integrated Math 3 completes the college-prep integrated pathway. The opening unit reviews the features of functions and then learns to undo them: inverting a linear model, a quadratic model on a restricted domain, and an exponential model, where the logarithm first appears as the inverse of exponentiation, then confirming an inverse by composition and matching functions with their inverses across tables, graphs, rules, and descriptions. The units that follow will develop logarithmic functions and their properties, then polynomial functions through end behavior, the fundamental theorem of algebra, and the remainder theorem, closing the first semester. The second semester will take up rational functions and their graphs, cross sections and solids of revolution beside the trigonometric identities, the trigonometric functions on the unit circle and as models of circular motion, combining and composing functions to model, and a closing unit on normal distributions and sampling.
Practice follows the pathway's mastery loop: each skill draws randomized questions from shared banks until you answer four in a row, and the unit test draws from those same pools. Much of the entry happens in the notation of the subject, with an inverse rule typed as an expression, a restricted domain given as an interval, a table of values completed in place, and a graph you sketch on the axes yourself. Short videos sit beside the reading in each lesson, and every unit ends in a test with a review-day practice form on the same page.
